HOW IT WORKS
A small sample of your blood is drawn in the office and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is packed with growth factors. That PRP is then precisely injected into the areas of your scalp where hair is thinning. The growth factors help stimulate dormant and shrinking follicles, extend the hair’s growth phase, and improve blood supply to the scalp.

Your visit begins with a consultation to evaluate your hair and scalp and discuss your goals. After a quick blood draw, your PRP is prepared while your scalp is cleansed and numbed for comfort. The injections themselves take only minutes. You may notice mild tenderness or tightness of the scalp for a day or two. Hair grows slowly, so results build gradually: many patients notice less shedding first, followed by fuller-looking hair over the following months as new growth comes in.
